At just 18 years old, our sweet nephew Mason is facing something no teenager should have to endure — Stage 5 kidney failure.

Mason has autism, and while he navigates the world in his own unique and beautiful way, this sudden medical crisis has brought challenges their family never imagined. As of today, he has officially begun dialysis — a life-sustaining treatment that he will need multiple times a week while they wait for a kidney transplant.

Dialysis is exhausting. It’s time-consuming. And for someone with autism, the routine changes, hospital visits, and physical toll can be especially overwhelming. Yet through it all, Mason continues to show strength in his own quiet way.

Their family is now preparing for the next critical step — a kidney transplant. This means ongoing hospital stays, travel, medications, testing, time off work, and long-term anti-rejection medications after surgery.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden so they can focus fully on what matters most: supporting their son through dialysis and getting him the life-saving transplant he urgently needs.
