Aseel is a 13-year-old boy who lost his mother 2 years ago. His father remarried two months after and began a new life with his spouse. Aseel and his five siblings were sent to live with different family members. Aseel was working at a factory (age 11) to support his siblings when he accidentally stepped on a screw, puncturing his left big toe. Due to a lack of finances and an uncaring father, Aseel's toe became infected and spread to other parts of his foot. This infection eventually led to sepsis. Doctor's in his home country tried to treat him, however, were unsuccessful. Aseel suffered a blood clot and was then told his left leg must be amputated, however, his immune system was tremendously weak. Aseel's aunts struggled to collect enough money to send him to Egypt in hopes of him receiving better medical care. When Aseel and his uncle arrived in Egypt, he began treatment in the least expensive clinic. With the help of local donors, Aseel was able to have the surgery. His left leg is now amputated and unfortunately is not healing properly due to his weak immune system. Doctors fear that his right leg will be affected by thrombosis as well. Aseel is in a very desperate condition physically, mentally, and financially. His life continues to be in jeopardy. Your generosity will help Aseel get the right medical care he is in dire need of. Your donations will go towards his current and future medical expenses and road to recovery. Please find it in your hearts to support this 13-year-old boy so he can begin to live a somewhat normal life.
