BREAST CANCER AWARENESS ULTRA-MARATHON

There is a woman somewhere in Zambia tonight…

lying awake… not because she wants to,

but because pain won’t let her sleep.

A mother.

A sister.

A friend.

Fighting breast cancer… quietly.

Some are still hoping to be diagnosed early.

Some are already in treatment.

Some are simply praying for one more chance.

On 1 May 2026, I will be leading a team of 10 runners taking on 125km for breast cancer awareness from Lusaka to Mazabuka under Miles Against Cancer.

Not for medals.

Not for attention.

But for her.

And for many others like her.

Every step we take will carry a message:

Early detection saves lives.

No one should fight cancer alone.

We are a team of 16 people:

10 runners

2 drivers

2 camera crew

1 physiotherapist

1 media personnel

Prepared to push the human body to its limits…

so that awareness can reach those who need it most.

But right now, we are at a critical point.

We have set a focused target of €5,000 to make this mission possible.

Your support will help us cover operational logistics including support to the men and women taking on this distance. Support intended is in form of fuel for the journey, hydration (water, electrolytes, energy gels, bananas), meals and accommodation and awareness materials such as flyers.

Additionally a dedicated fee of K15,000.00 will go in direct support to some identified breast cancer patients or survivors after the run from within Mazabuka Town where the run will end.

This is not just a fundraiser.

It is a call to stand with someone

who may not have the strength to ask for help.
