Baye "Djibril" Faye is an incoming sophomore at Radford University and member of the men’s soccer team. Originally from Rufisque, Senegal, Djibral is the eldest of six children and is studying Communications. 

Djibril's father, Amadou, lives in Senegal with his family and suffers from heart and lung disease that worsened this past winter. He was recently admitted into the hospital and doctors advise he undergo heart surgery as soon as possible. 

Within the next TEN (10) days, at least $1,000 needs to be raised, along with an additional  $2,000 in the next month to complete the cost of surgery, hospital stay, medicine and transfer fees. Our goal is to raise $3,020 total to cover all costs. The surgery is necessary in order for Mr. Faye to recover.

The Faye family does not have the means necessary to cover the costs of his medicine, let alone surgery and hospital costs. The family depends on Djibril sending them money from his on-campus job, and due to COVID-19, the job (and subsequent income) has been put on hold until campus re-opens in early August.
