The people of Western Bahr El Ghazal are facing a silent emergency.

Hospitals and clinics in Wau, Raja, and surrounding communities are overwhelmed by the growing number of displaced families and refugees fleeing violence, war crimes in Sudan, and ongoing insecurity in neighboring regions. Mothers give birth without proper beds. Doctors work without basic tools. Patients wait—often helplessly—for care that could save their lives.

The Western Bahr El Ghazal Community – USA (WBGC-USA), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has taken action. Through tireless efforts and partnerships across the United States, we have secured critical medical supplies—hospital beds, surgical equipment, gloves, gowns, and diagnostic tools—items that mean the difference between life and death.

But there is one final obstacle.

We urgently need $20,000–$25,000 to ship these life-saving supplies in a container to South Sudan. Without this support, the equipment will remain in storage—while lives are lost every day for lack of basic care.
