Ukrainian physicians face emergencies every day but often lack access to a life-saving diagnostic tool: point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS). This small, hand-held device allows doctors to diagnose injuries faster and save lives in trauma care.
While training with this tool is commonplace in American medical schools, most Ukrainian students have never even held an ultrasound probe despite universally recognizing its importance to their careers.
Klats Education is a charity that raises money to purchase this equipment in the US, transport it to Ukraine, and provide free training to Ukrainian medical students. With your help, this project can create a ripple effect of knowledge that will impact healthcare in Ukraine for years to come.
Every donation brings us closer to equipping Ukraine’s future doctors with the tools they need to save lives. Please consider giving and sharing this campaign today.
