SUPPLY DRIVE FOR IRVINE ANIMAL CARE CENTER

I am Thomas C. with Boy Scouts of America Venturing Crew 606 in Irvine, California. My Eagle Project is to collect over 300 much-needed items for the animals at the Irvine Animal Care Center, located at 6443 Oak Canyon, Irvine, California.

For more than 40 years, the Irvine Animal Care Center has provided sheltering, care and enrichment for homeless, neglected, abused or unwanted animals. Additional services include licensing for Irvine residents, pet adoptions and events.

The Care Center staff compiled a wish list of 40 items (please see the list below). Monetary donations from GoFundMe will be used to purchase the Center's requested items.

Additionally, our volunteers will distribute informational flyers and pick up donation items in select Irvine neighborhoods in October. We will also have volunteers stationed at a display table inside PETCO (Irvine, CA, Culver Plaza) on 10/22 & 10/23 from 12 pm to 6 pm. New donation items can be dropped off or purchased at PETCO. We will accept recyclable cans, bottles and newspapers. All funds from the can & bottle recycling will be used to purchase additional items from the Care Center's wish list. The newspapers will be given to the Care Center for news litter.
