When we learned that 300 students at Humanity First’s Masroor Ahmed School in Guatemala often go without the basic supplies they need to learn, we knew we had to act. Education opens doors, but pencils, notebooks, and classroom materials are the keys that help students walk through them.
Humanity First USA and student groups like Kids 4 Humanity are coming together to change that, and we in Northern Virginia want to be part of this meaningful effort.
These children are eager to learn and ready to build better futures, but they cannot do it alone. By raising funds to provide school supplies and classroom materials, we can help equip students for an entire school year, allowing them to attend classes with dignity, focus, and the tools they need to succeed. This effort reflects Humanity First USA’s mission to give people the skills and capacity to flourish through education and opportunity.
We in Northern Virginia have the opportunity to come together to support these young learners in Guatemala. Every contribution, whether large or small, brings us closer to ensuring that students have the resources they need to learn, grow, and reach their potential.
Please join us in Northern Virginia in supporting Humanity First USA and Kids 4 Humanity. Together, we can put essential supplies directly into students’ hands and help make their school year, and their future, brighter.
