SMARTBoard and other supplies for FSC K-2 Class

Aloha, and thank you for your interest in helping our Fully Self Contained Special Education Class (Kindergarten to 2nd Grade) at Pu'u Kukui Elementary School.  In our FSC class we have children from various backgrounds (homelessness, low SES, etc.) and disabilities (such as: autism).  We are raising money to get a SMARTBoard (interactive white board) and other supplies (such as: weighted vests, sensory materials, and books) for our Fully Self Contained Class. In using the SMARTBoard, our students will be able to engage with the lessons they are learning, develop independence skills, and develop their knowledge of the appropriate use of technology. When our students are using other supplies our students will be able to have tools needed to manage over-stimulation from their environment. By providing these tools and calming techniques to our students we will be able to focus on academic learning more than behavior management.  We are hoping to raise enough money to first buy a SMARTBoard before January 2021 ($3000) and finish raising funds to purchase the other supplies by May 2021 ($2000).  We appreciate any help you can provide us to give our students the best education we can provide!
