COVID-19 Supplies for La Loche

La Loche, Saskatchewan, located in the northwest region of the province has been affected by an outbreak of COVID-19 cases. The Saskatchewan Medical Association and the Student Medical Society of Saskatchewan has organized efforts to get supplies to the La Loche community that they can utilize during this time of social distancing due to the outbreak of COVID-19 cases.
We as students of the College of Medicine of Saskatchewan, humbly ask for your support. All funds will be put towards the purchase of home activity items, cleaning and personal hygiene products, sewing supplies, and non-perishable food items.
Fund raising will end on May 12th. A transport truck will be scheduled to pick up supplies in Saskatoon, and leave for La Loche on May 15/16th.
An update will be provided here as we complete our supplies purchase.
