Emergency Relief for Single Parent during COVID-19

Hello, I am a single mother working two jobs to support my family. During these times, a lot of us are suffering lost incomes and wondering how we are going to support our families. In light of the recent events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, I am also in this situation, struggling to cover the costs of being partially out of work. Since I have not been able to work my secondary income at Uber due to the shelter-in-place order, and now need to homeschool my daughter, I am in a position of financial hardship. I am a single parent and need this income to help to pay for rent, utilities, food and medical expenses for my daughter, who recently had knee surgery and is still in physical therapy. Like a lot of full time single parents in the Bay Area, we don’t have the resources for a large emergency or unemployment fund for situations like these, and I rely on my supplemental income in order to support my family or cover unexpected medical or emergency expenses.
