Hi, this is Drek Tate. I am a barber stylist by trade. While working this past weekend I started to have difficulty using my right hand. I continued to work even though I was struggling to completely my hair cuts. I later drove to the emergency room where it was found that was having a stroke. Thankfully, it is what doctors consider to be mild. However, I will need physical and occupational therapy to regain full use of my right hand and leg. As you may know, as a barber there is no sick leave or PTO and my concern is that my family and I will go through our savings pretty quickly especially since our youngest boys will be going back to school soon.
