Superwoman seeks SuperFriends

Hello, I am Terrany. A 48 year old LVN of 20 years who’s hit a rough patch. After having my first stroke on March 25 of 2023 I was diagnosed with MoyaMoya disease of my brain, Lupas, a factor 8 deficiency, and a slew of other illnesses… (damn!?? Right?!???)I recently, on 10/29/24, had a craniotomy-and a revascularization procedure that has put me out of work for 3 months. I’m on FMLA from my job right now, but the Short Term Disability my job has does not offer coverage for preexisting conditions, and I started working there in August of 2023.

Any and everyone who knows me knows I WILL NOT ask for help…I normally like to be the one doing the helping… but I feel like it’s time to humble myself and see what happens. I just need a little something until I’m released to return to work. Thank you in advance and God bless you.
