Someone very dear to me has been hospitalized while fighting Lymphoma. They endured a bone marrow transplant 8 months ago and are suffering from unpredicted complications. The prognosis is unknowing at the moment and they have been living in the hospital for 5 plus weeks. Their significant other who is also very dear to me has been unable to work due caring for their loved one. The hospital that they are staying at is 2 hours away from where they live, making commute incredibly difficult. Just recently they have been admitted into the ICU for more intense treatment and care. 

Bills are due and work has been missed for reasons beyond them. I am kicking this off by sending my own personal $500 via Western Union. Some of you will know who these two wonderful people are, and some wont. I am not naming them as I do not want to release any information without permission, and with the circumstances, I would rather not ask, but do. I know they would never ask for money, so I am taking it upon myself to get them what they need with your support. I hope that even if money cannot be donated, I ask for your prayers. 

The picture for this profile is Superman. The patient made a name for themself while going through chemo wearing a Superman shirt, as they have beaten cancer once, they will beat it again. I type this on the brink of tears and hope that they know what support they have, even if no one is geographically close to them. 

I am trying to raise any amount of money to cover and living expenses for their rent, phone bills, food, dog boarding, car payments and most importantly, health insurance premiums. I do not know what their monthly bills add up to be, but I am sure anything will help.

Making the decision to be in the ICU supporting your loved one and going to work 2 hours away is not a decision I would want to make.
