Kooper is a sweet little 5 year old boy from Pikeville, Kentucky.
On the morning of Wednesday February 19, 2020, he was taken to the ER at Pikeville Medical Center where he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He was immediately transferred to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital treatment where that evening he was taken for emergency surgery where a tube was placed in the top of his head to drain the fluid from his brain.
The next morning he was again taken to surgery to remove the tumor that was causing his issues.
This child had received so much love, support, and prayers that us the family couldn’t keep everyone updated. It was just easier to put one post on Facebook.
Well that’s where we are now. He is currently in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital room 754 recovering from the surgery and are now awaiting the pathology results.
By God’s grace no matter what the report says, he will make it through this.
