SuperKaya's 2nd Bone Marrow Transplant

I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of our Beautiful STRONG Daughter Kaya, who has been on a long 5+ year Journey.

It started when she was 3, when she was diagnosed with Leukemia for the first time. 

Since then, Kaya has undergone countless sessions of Chemotherapy, Spinal Taps, Bone Biopsies, Radiation, Infusions, Car-T Therapy, and now we have been given the news that Kaya will need to undergo a second Bone Marrow Transplant, as the Car- T was unsuccessful. 

This means we will again be uprooted from our home, family and I will have to again depart from my job, as we will be resigned to live in Minneapolis for another 3.5 months pre/post Transplant. 

I want to be incredibly honest and admit that we are not the most comfortable asking for help, especially yet again, but we REALLY would not be asking if we didn't REALLY need the help. 

To have to navigate this a second time, without the help we received from our Insurance that we no longer qualify for, is a definite added stressor, especially since we won't know the exact dates of the Transplant yet. 

(Kaya's Care Team is thinking it will be around mid-late January, which eliminates the option of throwing a Benefit on Kaya's behalf.)

The positives in this are that Kaya is still doing amazing- her Care Team believes she is in a very good position health wise to go into another Transplant, (which is why they do not want to wait) and we are told that a second Transplant, although they hope it never has to come to this, is very successful.
