Hi, my name is Moradeke Adeosun a friend of the family, and I am fundraising for burial and funeral arrangement for our beloved brother, Superior Evangelist P. Oladapo, affectionately known as “Golden Scissors” and “Omo Majemu.” He was also the Shepherd in Charge of CCC Dominion City Parish, Ibadan, Nigeria, and Dominion Prayer Ministry, London, UK. He peacefully departed this life on April 22, 2026, after a brief illness.

Superior Evangelist Oladapo was a pillar of strength within the CCC Harton Street Parish and a highly respected Altar Elder whose life was wholly devoted to the service of God and His people. A gifted revivalist and powerful preacher of the Word, he carried a rare grace and passion for teaching, inspiring countless lives through his unwavering commitment to the gospel of Christ.

His revival services particularly those held every Tuesday after Bible class were extraordinary moments of spiritual depth, sound doctrine, and undeniable testimonies. Through these gatherings, many experienced transformation, healing, restoration, and renewed faith. His impact on the church, both locally and beyond, cannot be overstated.

For many years, Superior Evangelist Oladapo stood as a cornerstone of the Celestial Church of Christ in the UK and worldwide. He was not only a leader and preacher but also a servant whose ministry extended beyond the pulpit. Widely known as the “Golden Scissors,” he painstakingly crafted sutanas (church garments) for a significant number of Celestial members across the UK and Worldwide. This was more than craftsmanship, it was ministry. Through his hands, he ensured that God’s people were spiritually adorned, united, and prepared for worship. His attention to detail in his work was matched only by the love, humility, and dedication he showed in his service to God and humanity.

The news of his passing has come as a great shock to the entire parish and the broader Celestial Church community. His absence will be profoundly felt. Truly, we have lost a devoted servant of God, a spiritual father, a mentor, and a beacon of light. Yet, even in our grief, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the seeds of faith he faithfully planted.

Superior Evangelist Oladapo was a dedicated husband and a beloved father. At this incredibly difficult time, we ask the community he served so faithfully to keep his family, friends, and church family in prayer as they navigate life without him. Efforts are also being made to support his family toward immediate funeral and burial expenses, and any contribution no matter how small will be deeply appreciated. For those unable to give financially, your prayers and support remain invaluable.

Superior Evangelist P. Oladapo dedicated his life to serving God and humanity. Let us honour him by standing together in love and compassion for those he leaves behind.
