South Florals is coming together to help one of our team members from Miami Gardens Florist, Valeria, as her 7 year old son was recently diagnosed with T cell ALL Leukemia. For the past weeks he has been hospitalized while trying to aggressively fight his leukemia with chemotherapy. Recently Sean was discharged and will be returning to the hospital a few times a week to continue drug therapy and monitoring.
The family is in desperate need of a vehicle to make it to and from these crucial appointments that may continue for the next few years. We want to raise enough money to repair the Driftwood van, replace the seats, cover the cost of registration for the year, and have enough extra for insurance and gas cards. A $28 donation (or whatever you can contribute) from each of our employees will help us meet this goal, which South Florals will then match dollar for dollar.
We would like to reach this goal ASAP to provide her with the transportation she needs. As such a wonderful long-term teammate, she deserves nothing but the best in this difficult time and we know this will help her tremendously.
