Superhero Desserts: A shop by real superheroes.

Hello! Thank you for checking out our Gofundme page. Our video will give you a little history about Superhero Desserts
and how we got here. Below, you get a little more information about our plans, and the nitty gritty of why we need your help. We are raising money to help pay for equipment needed to provide you with the highest quality treats that Superhero Desserts has to offer.

Superhero Desserts is determined to become a daily necessity for local dessert lovers, a place to dream of as you try to escape the  daily stresses of life, and a comfortable place to meet your friends or to enjoy some relaxing you-time, all in one. We will provide desserts that are both exquisite and decadent in a comfortable atmosphere for clients who seek a fun "gourmet" experience outside of restaurants. 

We will continue to use a portion of our proceeds to fund our ongoing homeless outreach events, and will continue to promote community connection through these and other volunteer events.

 
The Product: Desserts

Not just desserts, incredible desserts that will delight you visually and tempt your taste buds. From our rich Guinness Stout Cake, our bright and citrusy Lemon Poppy Seed Drizzle Cake (inspired by the Great British Baking Show), to our Cinnamon Coffee Cake –which has been described as “the feeling of sleeping in on a Saturday morning,” we will offer a menu that changes with the season, while keeping several fan-favorites year ‘round.

 
Our shop will …

•   Sell our own, 100% made by us, desserts!

•   Be a fun, unique, and charming addition to the food scene in Alameda, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

• Continue to use a portion of our proceeds to fund our homeless outreach events.

Risks and Challenges

The biggest risk of this campaign is not making our bottom-line goal. Without the 10K, it will be hard to get the doors
open. We've put our life savings into making Superhero Desserts a reality, but opening a business is expensive! 

That said, this community has been overwhelmingly supportive at our pop-up events over the past year! We have received the most positive feedback we could have hoped for, and that’s given us the confidence that we can reach this goal! Please
spread the word to everyone you know!

 Founders level: You’ll get you name on our “Founder’s Wall,” which will be proudly displayed in the shop. Plus, two free treats and coffees.

 Get 12 each of 2 of our most popular cookies. 12 Bailey’s Irish Coffee cookies and 12 Dark Chocolate with Maldon sea salt.

24 pieces of our famous cinnamon coffee cake. (A $96 value) This cake is so good that we have people fighting over the last piece.

A limited edition Superhero Desserts T-shirt,  treat and coffee.

Golden ticket – get entry into our upcoming Thank-You party. Come one, come all to the best thank you party in Alameda County! Food, music, art, festivities! There will be a theme, and there will be awesome live music and there will definitely be a delectable bevy of Superhero Dessert treats to delight your palate all night long. All to say thank you! Thank you! Thank you for supporting us and helping us to make this dream into a reality! This event is set to happen in November 2020. Entry comes with 2 drink tickets. Yay! Come celebrate, Superhero Desserts style!!!

$200 The Incredible Crimefighter
Inventor’s level: You get to work with us to create a new treat, and we can even name it after you! Plus two treats and coffees.

 

$350 The Captain Coolness
Holiday shopping done early :
We will send you in the mail 4 GIFT SETS, EACH including: 1 T-shirt, one copy of Roxanne’s book, and a gift card  for $15. We'll also include a Superhero Desserts card (that's blank inside) so you can fill it out for each recipient!



$500  The Global Guardian
Come get two treats of your choice for an entire year. This includes cookies, dark chocolate zucchini bread, fruit bread, savory or sweet galettes, cupcakes and more! We will keep a special stamp card with your lovely name on it in the cafe. This reward has an estimated value of $750! You save $250. Pretty awesome! 

$750 The Major Assistance
Dessert catering for up 30 people (local only): We will supply enough treats for up to 30 people. You pick them up and deliver to your event. You’ll be everyone’s hero!

 

$5000 The Galactic Godfather 
Alright, player. Here’s what you’ll get for Galactic Godfather status: We’ll commission a painted portrait of you, add an engraved nameplate, put a gold frame around it, and display it in our shop. Forever. 

10,000 The Ultimate Superhero
