Help Susan and Saipan
Donation protected

My sister and her family live in the US Commonwealth, Saipan, near Guam. 2 days ago, the island was devastated by the largest typhoon to hit American soil. She (and we) are from Nevada IA.
By a miracle via lots of prayer, her house was not structurally damaged. This has allowed her to open her home to others. They will spend the next weeks and months, rebuilding in their area, helping friends and neighbors, and trying to cope with water being gone, rationing gas, low food supplies, power outage, safety issues.
The Montessori school she opened, was significantly damaged. Much of the work and labor to create the school was done by them, or donated. The school has two classrooms, and serves 38 children. Her income comes from this school exclusively, which is now gone. It is missing a roof and has water damage etc.
I am raising money for her to use to do whatever they can to help their community, rebuild and repair the school, and clean up their land, as well as purchase more batteries, water barrels, gas for generators, and ship extra medical supplies as needed for Jaxon, who has special medical needs.
The whole island is in shock. The rebuilding will take months, and we will be sending and shipping as much as we can to her physically. This money will do directly to her to use in the best way, during this time.
Who I am, where from, relationship to Susan: I am Sara M Thompson, Susans oldest sister, and proud aunt to the girls! I live in Ankeny Ia, work in Ames, 10 miles from where we grew up in Nevada.
How the funds will be spent: These funds will be given to Susan, to use for their personal expenses, their repair and clean up, their schools repair and clean up, and for her generosity to neighbors and loved ones around who how are in need.
My withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary: I will personally withdraw funds and send directly to Susan.
Thank you again for your help!
