As many of you are aware, Nagano Japan has had severe flooding and destruction from super Typhoon Hagibis in October 2019.  My brother Alan and his wife Maimai and 2 sons evacuated their home before the storm but had no idea the extent of damage that would occur when the riverbank collapsed and flooded their first floor.   Alan has been posting daily on facebook the update efforts this past week.  They will be out of their home for 2 months, their car is not eligible for insurance as typhoon flooding is exempted and most of their furniture will need to be replaced.   Not to mention the massive amount of clean up and extended time off work to rebuild.  

Our family thought we should start a fund for all those who wish to help them financially during this time.  It's frustrating being so far away and not able to physically help in the recovering efforts.
