SUPER Skate for SUPER Cam

We are ND Hockey.

 

Last Fall one of our varsity player's little cousin, Cameron Taf​t, suffered a near-fatal drowning accident when he was only 22 months old. He has spent months at Lurie Children's Hospital and Shirley Ryan and is now at a facility in New Orleans receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). He has been separated from his siblings for 4 months. His father is at home in Chicago caring for their other children and his mom is with him in temporary housing in New Orleans. On top of the heartache, intense therapy, and separation are the bills. The HBOT is not covered by insurance. Cam must learn to eat, talk, and walk again and he is putting in hours of therapy every day.

The ND Hockey team is putting on their skates for a SUPER Skate for SUPER Cam.

 

We will skate non-stop for 1 hour on Feb 27th at our home ice rink to show support for Cam and his family. We will each hit 10 miles dedicating the steps, miles, and sweat to Cam.
