No mother should ever have to say goodbye to her child—especially after fighting so hard to keep him here.

My name is Marsha, and I am asking for help with one of the hardest things I have ever faced: laying my beloved son, Nathan, to rest.

Nathan fought with incredible strength for 93 long days in the ICU. Every day, I prayed for a miracle. Every small improvement gave us hope, and every setback broke our hearts. Despite the tireless efforts of his doctors and nurses, I eventually heard the words no parent is ever prepared to hear: “There’s nothing more we can do.”

In that moment, my world stopped.

Losing Nathan is the greatest pain I have ever known. My heart is shattered. I feel empty. There is a void inside me that can never be filled. No parent should have to bury their child, and yet I now face the unimaginable task of saying goodbye to my precious son.

As I struggle to cope with this overwhelming loss, I am also faced with the unexpected burden of funeral and memorial expenses. It is incredibly difficult to ask for help, but I cannot do this alone.
