Help Super MOM Candice fight stage4B Cancer

Hello everyone my name is Michael, I’m creating this fund to help my mother. Here’s a little background of her ongoing situation.

In 2018 my mom became pregnant with her 4th child while still working at United States Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier where she’d been working for the last 9years or so during her many years working she was starting to complain of back issues feet swelling and things of the sort that the hospitals and everybody could link to her job because of the type of work she did. During her pregnancy she complained of multiple different complications to her doctors of spotting, a foul odor, leaking urine etc.. after the office doing std test urinalysis test etc and all tests administered to her came back negative for anything wrong they would always tell her she was fine and her pregnancy would be complicated because of her age and her stressful relationship with her unborn child’s father since she was over the age of 35 and hormonally going through a lot. Fast forward to her going into labor it was painful and complicated verses the previous labor I seen her go through with my other sister a couple years earlier they told my mom she had to get an epidural which was something she was completely against so she declined and they came back did a cervical exam to see how far she dilated and told her she had to get the epidural because they needed to administer an emergency C-section without any explication my mom continued to ask why did she need a C-Section and they could not give her a reason why that was around 10am after hours of being in labor and epidural in place they still never gave her a C-Section and continued to pump more doses of medication in her system after she made it very clear she didn’t want any around 6:30pm my mom called for a nurse and said she feels pressure the baby is coming and for sure within the next half hour she pushed out my youngest sister Marley. While still in the hospital she had extreme bleeding and abnormal pains unlike anything she felt with her prior 3 pregnancies and made the whole staff aware of how she was feeling and it was not normal to her after being in the hospital for several days her feet and legs swelled to the size of an elephant I am not exaggerating they sent her home and she called complaining of the foul smell she was experiencing the pain the swelling of her legs and feet but they assured her everything was ok. For months after she had Marley she was bleeding still had the foul smelling discharge and felt she was urinating on herself but they still assured her nothing was wrong. Told her to do kegel exercises and stay off her feet and to prop them up when she’s resting of course that wasn’t any help. After trips to urgent care and her primary care physician they offered the same advice but prescribed her stool softeners and told her she had IBS or was constipated. She then changed her primary care physician and was trying to schedule with a new obgyn but because of covid everything was closed doctors weren’t returning calls if you did get someone it was hard to get an appointment for months. So she scheduled an appointment with her previous obgyn and sadly she was diagnosed with stage4B cervical cancer. After a good two years of all the same exact complaints same doctors same nurses nobody figured out there was something major wrong with her. Immediately after the diagnosis she started chemo she continued to work until it started getting the best of her around January 2021. Now up to todays date she exonerated all of her treatment options only thing left for her to do is fight. It has really been a struggle taking care of her my two siblings and my grandmother working a waiter job and office employee bills are piling up her savings are gone and I’m robbing Peter to pay Paul. Dhs closed out her food benefits a couple months ago saying she didn’t turn in her recon paperwork and she did the deep freezer is empty. We need help anything no matter how big or small even if it’s just words of encouragement we could use it all. This woman is the glue to our family and when I say super MOM I mean MOM OF MANY she literally will do anything for anybody and will do without to make sure the next is ok if she could lighten ur load to make things easier for you she would no matter how much heavier it would make hers. Man she is a great person all the way around. I don’t want her to worry I just want her to be ok. Right now she’s stressing about school ready to start and she doesn’t have any money to shop for my sisters. She has lost sooo much weight and can’t fit any of her clothes and there’s no money to buy her new ones. I can’t change her situation but I can continue to try to lessen her load with the help of you guys.
