In August, at less than a month old, our little boy was admitted to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he spent 3 days being tested, prodded and poked, to establish the cause of his pain/discomfort. During his stay, the doctors found that his liver count numbers were all extremely low and so they began bloodwork and testing to try to figure out what exactly was going on with our little guy. Over months, he had various tests, scans and bloodwork done that all came back clear. With time and three different sets of medications as well as a special formula, Jaxon seemed to be doing better. The doctors still haven't figured out what exactly was going on, but they ruled out a lot of the scary options, like surgery or a liver biopsy. Jaxon will have to continue to get liver/kidney scans done periodically, but he is doing much better. Although his health has made a turn for the better, his stay in the hospital as well as his outpatient tests and scans and medications have been quite costly. Please consider giving what you can to help alleviate the cost of medical bills! Any donation towards this cause is very much appreciated & we are eternally grateful for all of the support/concern/prayers from our friends and family!
