SupaJam Education in Music and Media is an award winning unique educational provider looking to shake up the music industry! Our aim is to help disadvantaged and vulnerable young people, particularly those with SEND, gain work in a variety of music careers. We want to see a greater proportion of the population represented as artists, promoters, managers, runners, sound engineers - every role that our students are currently studying at SupaJam.
But we need your help!
We are raising £12,000 to pay for the setup costs of running a stage at the Black Deer Country and Americana Festival. This will be a life changing experience for our students, where they will presented with the opportunity to gain genuine work experience within an actual working festival! Our students will manage the sound and lighting of the stage, support the artists, operate our health and safety protocols, manage the back stage areas, write articles and take photos for online magazines. Some of them will even have the chance to perform their own music - literally a dream come true.
