Overview:
Sunspots Is a film that evokes the familiarity of loss and inner turmoil, inviting everyone to reflect on their relationships with one another and with themselves.
Synopsis:
When Elias, a forlorn cinema clerk, encounters a mysterious figure who claims to know him, the pair embark on an emotional odyssey through memory and illusion. As the line between past and present fractures, and the distinction between the real and the surreal becomes ever-more blurred, Elias must confront the truths he’s long avoided — and the self he’s tried to forget.
This film relies heavily on atmosphere, sound, and visual continuity. Without sufficient resources, those elements risk feeling unfinished, undermining the emotional honesty of the story and hindering my team's ability to produce the best possible work for our university's final major project.
If you'd be kind enough to invest in this project, all contributions will go directly into the making of the film. Only the resources necessary to do the story justice.
This project represents the final stage of our development as filmmakers and will form a core part of our professional portfolios as we move into the industry.
If this story resonates with you, we’d love for you to be part of bringing it to life. Anyone who donates will get an invite to the screening of the film at our graduate show, which will take place in june!
Thank you so much for your time, and we look forward to seeing you at the show!
