Sunshine's Gender Affirming Surgeries

I am Sunshine Bella Goodman. I'm a transgender woman from the beautiful city of Charleston, SC. On Jan 7, 2024, I will celebrate my 4 Trans Birthday. Four years ago I started my physical journey toward becoming everything I was told I wasn't. A part of that process is Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). This therapy promotes breast growth as well as other changes to my body that will make me look and feel more feminine.

With the support of my family and friends January 20th, 2022 I had my first gender affirming surgery. I had a breast augmentation. This was so meant so much to me. It helped boost my confidence as a woman, which, in turn, allowed me to move about socially without question of my womanhood.

Since the surgery I have had my name and gender marker changed.

I’ve become an activist for transgender rights. I serve on the advisory board of the Trans Love Fund a program of We Are Family, a non-profit LGBTQ+ organization based in Charleston, SC. My most recent assignment is serving on the board of the Transgender Awareness Alliance, a Trans-led non-profit that assists Trans people of South Carolina with legal resources and emergency assistance. I’ve accomplished so much now that I'm living my most authentic life. I am ready for the next phase of my physical transition.
