I’m still in disbelief writing this.

It comes with such a heavy heart to have to write this or even put this out there.

The morning of Sunday, Jan 19th my family and I have come to face one of the hardest things life could throw at us. The loss of my beautiful sister.

Over the last few months we have all watched her struggle with some pretty crazy heart issues. Thus causing her to be in and out of the ICU and seeing many specialists to have multiple surgeries to try to fix her heart. After all that and wearing a “disgusting” life saving support vest (as you would all know, she hated and loved all at the same time) she was blessed to finally have the ablations work and get a internal defibrillator put in to help her heart stay strong and to make sure she was on the right track. She was doing so good. Living again. Working hard. As again you would all know was my sisters number two favorite thing in life.

Dec 14th she was in a pretty bad car accident. Breaking her nose in two places. Putting a fracture in her C6-C7 and by the grace of god walking out of that hospital with a neck brace and a lot of recovery ahead. She was in her best spirits. Making the most of being stuck in bed. Well as much as she would allow. Still making sure to be the best friend, auntie, sister, and daughter she was even when she knew she wasn’t at her highest.

This morning that all came to an end. We found out that life had taken fate into its own hands. We are currently waiting on answers and do not have all of them. So please respect that as we process this all.

If you knew Sarah you’d know she was a kind soul. Selfless. She’d always make sure you had her last dollar even if it meant she didn’t eat for a week. My sister was an amazing daughter. The best you could say.

With this she leaves behind many expenses and bills we still have to take care of. We do plan on having a celebration of life and your donations will be put towards any costs that come otherwise.
