Sunshine on His Face~ A day to finish the film~

Hello!

My name is Jeana MacIsaac an artist from PEI. I was given the amazing opportunity to write and direct my first short film, Sunshine on His Face for the Film4Ward program offered through Film PEI. It's about my brother Shane.

Here is a bit about the film :)

It is an emotional and heartfelt 7-minute dramatic short film, inspired by a true story. We witness the poignant moments before and the devastating hours after the death of an older brother. Focused on his younger sister's unwavering love and the memories she yearns to honour.

We had a beautiful two days of shooting, but we need to shoot one more day. Here is where I am asking for help. I believe in paying artists for their time and going back to shoot a third day was not in the low budget we were already working with. I know the world is hard right now and I respect that we all have our own reason to give where our hearts lie. This film is beautiful and I am hoping it will help us have more conversations about death and grief.
