Our friend and colleague Bill O'Connor has recently been diagnosed with metastatic liver cancer. The diagnosis was sudden and shocking, and Bill's family is struggling with the fallout.  Many of us have known Bill for years and want to do what we can to help him and his family. 

Some of us have made casseroles. We are duly informed that they are all set for casseroles and appreciate the food. 

What they can also use is some surprise help paying for unpredicted expenses that accompany a cancer diagnosis--including Amy (Bill’s wife) needing to take a leave from work to be with him. 

The Ulster BOCES Sunshine Club wants to help ease the family's burden in this difficult time. Please donate what you can soon. We will ensure that Bill and his family receive the donations right away.

Whether we were aware of it or not, Bill has, at some point, been there for all of us. He has fixed what needed fixing, moved what needed moving, and ensured the function and maintenance of the place we spend a significant part of our time. He has supported us from behind the scenes, and now our extended community can support him. Let’s come together now and be there for Bill.
