Sunshine donation for our mother, Mee Yang Chang

Everything that I am, I owe it to my mother.

I can't believe that I am writing this right now. It is still very unreal to me. My mother and I were just talking to each other on the phone yesterday. My beautiful mother passed away on Monday, November 22nd at 4 am from Covid-19 complications. She was survived by her husband, 10 children, and 11 grandchildren. She is a beautiful soul who loved and touched many lives.

Our mother, Mee Yang Chang, is the strongest person I've ever known. There was no challenge that she couldn't overcome. She had the spirit of a champion. She worked tirelessly everyday even though she had to drive over an hour to work; she worked through first, second and third shift; she worked through sickness and fatigue.

Our mother gave and loved generously. She welcomed any opportunity to help her family and friends. Her happiness was in serving and loving others. She always lent a listening ear and somehow always knew the right thing to say to help anyone through their toughest obstacle.

To our mother who gave everything she had until her very last breath, we love you. May we see each other in our next life time. Let us switch roles so I can shower you with an unlimited abundance of love, patience, health and wealth.
