Bob Jaeger Memorial "Sunshine Daydream" Summer Camp Fund

Bob's daughters each attended summer camp for many years and experienced the independence that comes with being away from home.

Bob was always grateful that his kids attended Camp Hazen YMCA in Connecticut. It is our intention to help provide this experience to other children in his honor, especially those who might otherwise be unable.

Whether it’s learning new skills, discovering new talents, making new friends or venturing outside their comfort zones - summer camp provides an opportunity for children to grow and challenge themselves in new ways. Jennifer and Samantha Jaeger credit their many summers at Camp Hazen as a contributing factor in their individuality and confidence.

One of Bob's most closely-held beliefs was that of independence of heart and freedom of thought. "If you lead, no one may follow, that path is for your steps alone." He worked hard to instill this mindset in his daughters' lives and we believe he would be honored by the impact this could have.

Inspiration for the name of this fund is credited to one of Bob's favorite Grateful Dead songs, Sugar Magnolia. Listen here:
