Eduardo’s Cancer Update

The cancer has now spread to his pelvis, hips, left clavicle, and right shoulder blade. The next step in his treatment will be targeted radiation on his left shoulder and pelvis. Because radiation will weaken his immune system, Eduardo has decided to take a trip to San Diego before beginning treatment in October.

From September 22nd–27th, he’ll be spending time with family, friends, classmates, and others he hasn’t seen in years. He wants to enjoy some of his favorite restaurants, watch the ocean sunsets, and make sure he doesn’t miss the chance to be with the people who matter most to him—especially if future travel becomes difficult. This way, he can begin this next stage of treatment with peace of mind and on his own terms, not cancer’s.
