Since 2015, we all live here has been spreading a positive and inclusive message around Chicago by creating public art with schools. Founder Rich Alapack, wanted to do something about racism and hatred so he created a program for schools called ACT (Art, Community, and Technology) that creates public art using the phrase as a theme to invite community participation and support via crowdfunding technology.
On Monday, May 13th, all Sunset Ridge students participated in an assembly where Rich shared what he's been doing and taught our students the basics of graphic design, and then they helped create our official we all live here at Sunset Ridge logo which goes onto merchandise that's only available as part of this campaign to raise money for our very own we all live here project.

All Sunset Ridge students drew pictures during the assembly for each word in the positive and inclusive phrase: we all live here. They then learned some graphic design through examples of famous company logos. Rich, then asked the students to combine the thoughts and start brainstorming an exclusive we all live here at Sunset Ridge logo.

The point of this exercise was to get our students thinking about being positive and inclusive and to generate the official we all live here at Sunset Ridge logo so we can use that on official merchandise to use as rewards for this fundraiser to create a Giant Magnetic Poetry WALH on the school’s upper patio.

Our goal was to give our students a creative canvas that they can use to express themselves in a fun and educational way while spreading this positive and inclusive mindset. We hope you will support this project by donating to this campaign so we can install our project as soon as possible.
All donation amounts are greatly appreciated. All donors will have their name commemorated on the project's plaque (unless they wish to remain anonymous) explaining what we all accomplished together.

Upon campaign completion, all donors will receive a follow-up email asking for sizing. All orders will be delivered directly to Sunset Ridge School and sent home with the students to allow us to put more money towards creating the art and not shipping costs.
***IMPORTANT NOTE*** Please remember by donating to this campaign you are supporting the creation of a positive and inclusive public art project at a local school in your community. The merchandise for sale is created only for this project. As such, we cannot issue refunds. All Donor gifts will be sent to the school ASAP upon completion of campaign and a pickup process will be announced by the school. Production and installation of the art will take 3-6 weeks after we have raised the funds. Thank you for your support of the we all live here project. Together we added more Unity into the Sunset Ridge School Community.
