Sunnyside Community Gardens is a massive back garden for local people who live in nearby flats with no or very small gardens and it is run by the tiny Sunnyside Community Gardens Charity #1092031.

On the evening of Friday 2nd May 2025 our volunteer toilet block was set on Fire. We don't know if it was vandalism or an accident, but it has highlighted our desperate need for a fully accessible volunteer building that isn't made of wood. Many thanks to the fire brigade that came to put the fire out and save our toilet block.

Please help by donating towards our building fund.

In the meantime, we are going to try and patch up the toilet block for our volunteer gardeners. It has been kept beautiful by volunteer gardeners for over 40 years, and we hope to keep it that way for many years to come.

Our gardens are open to the public every day, so you are very welcome to come and enjoy the flowers.
