Help Sunny Walk Again

If you know Sunny, you know he’s more than just a dog he’s family. He brings so much joy, love, and personality into the lives of Austin Windy and Jolie and everyone lucky enough to meet him.

Right now, Sunny is facing a serious medical emergency. He has suddenly lost mobility, and the veterinary team suspects IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease)—a condition that requires urgent, specialized care. Sunny is currently stable, and the doctors are doing everything they can to keep him comfortable while they prepare for the next critical step.

He is scheduled for an MRI to confirm the diagnosis, and if it is IVDD, he will go straight into surgery immediately after. His care team is taking every precaution ensuring experienced staff are present.

The hopeful news: if this is IVDD, Sunny has a 91–98% chance of walking again. With surgery and recovery, he could return to his happy, tail-wagging self. After surgery, he will need to stay at the clinic for several days and then undergo weeks of careful recovery, including crate rest and limited movement.

As you can imagine, this level of emergency care, imaging, surgery, and recovery comes with significant costs. We’re asking for help to give Sunny the best possible chance at a full recovery.
