Sunny's In A Sling

Hi and thank you for your

thoughtful consideration

regarding the matter of donating to the financial assistance of my Sister-Sunshine Waters(sunny)

My name is Sharon Waters.  

The Purpose for starting this

fundraiser is because on May 24, 2022, my sister

Sunshine (Sunny) Waters was

Injured in a terrible go kart

accident. The driver of the kart

lost control after the wheel broke off,  they were driving approximately 45 mph. 

  When the wheel came off,

it caused the speeding kart to

come to a DEAD STOP... ejecting Sunny from the vehicle! !! She lost consciousness for a brief moment-then realized as she came to and woke, the driver our mutual friend Valerie was also severely injured. Sunny was unable to assist our friend, as she realized she herself had sustained serious injury. After being rushed to the hospital by ambulance, we later learned the extent of her injuries. Multiple broken bones on her right side. The E.R. did several x-rays and concluded Sunny had fractured her claivàl, as well as her scapula. We were told by the orthopedic surgeon Sunny will be unable to work, for a minimum of 8 weeks! (likelier 12 weeks). 

This past Wednesday she underwent the surgery on her clavical. She has been such a trooper through this ordeal but aside from the recovery she will have weighing on her mind, the burden of having an inability to meet her financial obligations, at the very least the next two months possibly three.

This unfortunate accident has put a great strain and financial hardship on my sister and her family. She is a single mother of three. My whole life, I've watched my sister do any and everything required of her going above and beyond to provide a stable and loving home for her 3 children Lexi Kam and Justin-

 with no assistance, on her own entirely. 

  For the first time in my recollection, my sister does not have the funds to pay her monthly mortgage payment or her electric bill, nor does she have the means to pay any of her monthly expenses- much less money to stay afloat during this 8-12 weeks- this is time period the surgeon told her she's be unable to work thru.  NO WORKING. She isn't the kind of woman who depends on others when she finds herself in a bind financially or otherwise so I as her sister whom has the utmost love and respect for this woman will ask on her behalf.The job she does is actually never ending, as you can imagine, with running your own cleaning  business tending to the upkeep of her home as well as caring and tending to her family affairs.  

On Sunny's behalf, I humbly ask for any assistance your able to bless her family with. Thank you in advance and God bless you for taking the time to read this as it's from my heart.

P.s. the reason I stated $4000 as my goal for her is bc her monthly expenses average about $4000+ each month.  Of course my prayer for her is to have a full and speedy recovery. That said, i will keep updating on this page with regard to sunshine and her progess.. thank all of you for your generous hearts and continued prayers for sunshine.
