Sunny Bunny

Here we go again! As some of you know, Sunny had brain surgery in 2004 to correct 2 aneurysms. She suffered a stroke during the surgery which led to physical deficits and learning disabilities. She was able to overcome those obstacles with a strong support system and the fact that she was so young. Through the years, she had some challenges come up, but again, as a minor was able to deal with them easily. Fast forward 12 years. Sunny started experiencing symptoms which were at first explained as a seizure disorder. More symptoms cropped up over the next few years which caused her physical and emotional difficulties. Unfortunately, recent scans revealed that a blockage in a major vessel which in earlier years was not an issue, has now been deemed the cause of her recent symptoms. She does not have enough blood flow to the right side of her brain and this is causing her recent physical impairments. Left untouched, her doctor feels she would eventually end up in a wheelchair and she has a good chance of having a stroke. So, her best option is to once again undergo brain surgery to re-route a vessel to improve the blood flow. As an adult, this is posing more of an issue to Sunny than her earlier surgeries. This may cause financial as well as physical difficulties. She may be out of work for 4-6 weeks as long as all goes well. Being an adult, she has her own financial responsibilities which she will fall behind on during her recovery period. People always ask me to let them know how they can help. I feel the best way to help Sunny now would be help her to cover her bills for a couple of months. Without the worry of falling behind on her bills, she will hopefully be under less stress during her recovery. I truly appreciate any help that you can offer Sunny.
