We are passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a stimulating environment for growth and development. As a mom and an aunt , we understand how critical it is for parents to have access to safe, high- quality childcare. Working parents need to know their children are in a place where they feel welcome, loved, and supported.

Through years of working in early childcare, we have seen firsthand the critical shortage of quality childcare slots in Duluth. Many families struggle to find reliable care. The high need and our passion for helping children thrive inspired us to start our own family childcare, Sunny Adventures, a family daycare that will provide care to 14 children ages 6 weeks to 10 years.

Our daycare is located in West Duluth on 58th Avenue West. The location is convenient for families, off the main bus line, and provides easy access for working parents in the neighborhood.

Sunny Adventures will offer a warm, home- like environment where children can explore, discover, and grow. We balance structured activities with child- led play to support cognitive, social, and emotional development.

We are both full- time childcare providers, and while we love our work, the wages in this field are low. Fundraising support is essential to help us cover start-up cost and bring our dream of opening Sunny Adventures to life. We signed a lease for our new space in August, and are hoping to open our doors in Fall 2025.

We are seeking support to help cover start-up cost, including safety updates and initial supplies, so we can create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
