Sunni’s wellness journey

Life change for our family over night on January 4th a mass was found on Sunni's CT scan. Since that day we spent 2 weeks in the hospital and 3 surgeries later. We were just informed she will require 9 more months of treatment. She was diagnosed with medulloblastoma a brain cancer. We are asking for money to help with not only the expenses for medical treatments ( transportation, parking and any expenses not covered by insurance) but also money in order to take time off work to care for her while she goes through all her treatment. I will have exhausted all my time off by the end of February. The treatments are 5 days a week requiring us to travel to San Francisco and Oakland. We hesitate as a family to publicly share this diagnosis however we need the support of our friends and family to be by Sunnis side during this time.
