Sunni & Kids Breast Cancer Battle & Survival Fund

My daughter is Sunni King, 51, a single mother with three boys. Their ages are 6, 12, and 14. In May Sunni had surgery, a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. Two weeks later she was back in the hospital with a life threatening infection. One month ago, she had to have another emergency surgery. This has been very hard on her and her boys. Prior to her surgery, she needed to buy special cushions and wraparound pillows for her recovery. She cannot raise her arms above her shoulders, so she needed to buy easy to put on tops. That was all really expensive. She needs help. She could use gas money for all the doctor appointments she has to go to. She is very restricted in her mobility. She has to order her groceries to be delivered because she isn't always stable on her feet from all the medications she has to take. This is more expensive than going to the store. I'm her mother , and I can't leave her alone for very long. I help as much as I can, I am a senior and have my own limations. She is spending a lot of money on postoperative supplies. She is short of money to buy very much for her boys back to school needs. This really hurts her heart that she can't do more for them. Hiring a housekeeper once in awhile would be a huge help. Before the year is over,she is looking at another surgery. Help would be appreciated for my daughter and grandsons. .

Sunni has been dealing with this since 2015, when she had her first surgery. Since then Sunni has had multiple biopsies and many scans. It came back in 2020. Sunni had a surgery then. Sunni and her family relocated due to domestic violence right when the pandemic shut everything down. Sunni didn't get a chance to meet new people and gain a support group of friends. On top of her cancer, she has had COVID twice. All this has drained her finances. Sunni is still having constant nerve pain, day and night. Part of her reconstructive surgery is not covered by insurance. She will need to have this done this fall.Any help is needed and appreciated, big or small and prayers and good thoughts. Thank you.
