Thank you so much for your huge support for what we're doing - it is massively appreciated! Our original post is below but as of the time of writing (early August 2023) we have delivered 33 aid-filled ambulances to Ukraine, one crane, a significant number of generators and a LOT of emergency medical equipment including haemostatic bandages and sophisticated tourniquets. All of this is making a real difference to the lives of civilians in Ukraine. As of the end of May 2023, Medical Life Lines Ukraine has delivered 25 aid-filled ambulances to Ukraine. We are immensely proud of this achievement and hugely grateful to all of those who have made it possible.

We recognise that the need in Ukraine remains acute. Russian forces continue directly and indirectly to target civilian infrastructure including healthcare in particular. Our ambulances with their cargo of medical and humanitarian aid are resources that are desperately needed by civilians in regions including Mykolaiv, Sumy, Krolovetsk and other places where they make a real difference to the people of Ukraine - including by feeding the dogs who save Ukrainians caught up in Russian atrocities. 

Each ambulance costs some £15k to buy, prepare for Ukraine and deliver and so every donation makes a very real difference to our aim of delivering more than 15 during Ukraine's sunflower season - each delivered by our wonderful volunteer drivers. Our first Sunflower Convoy will leave in late June and we hope that it will include a minimum of four ambulances. We are also planning further Sunflower Convoys in July and September. If we raise more funds than are necessary to acquire, fix and deliver the ambulances we will provide generators, medical equipment and additional vehicles and other items - even cranes and other equipment and supplies to help rescuers reach civilians trapped under shelled buildings - that save lives and ease the suffering of Ukrainians.

We hugely appreciate every penny that you give and work tirelessly to deliver the right aid to Ukraine, to the right places and to the people who can most benefit from it.
