As the president of the Sundre Bike n Ski Club, I am starting a campaign to raise funds for our new cross country ski track setting system. The Sundre Bike n Ski Club is a non-profit club, which provides winter trails for the Jackrabbits Ski Program, as well as town residents and visitors who enjoy the outdoors.  We are currently using a small, labour intensive track setter pulled by a borrowed snowmobile. The new system cost is roughly $24 000. We have already purchased a Ginzu Groomer at a cost of $9000. And are looking to raise an additional $15 000 to purchase and equip a used side by side to pull the new groomer.  This new system will provide better, more consistent tracks and trails for classic and skate skiing, as well as a walking surface.
