Sunalta Fire Fundraiser

On Monday, June 5 there was a fire at one of our developments in Sunalta. Sadly, this fire damaged a couple of adjacent buildings. As a result, a number of families have found themselves temporarily without a place to stay and caused them a loss of property.
We (RNDSQR) have joined up with the Sunalta Community Center to host a fundraiser for these affected families.
On Saturday June 17th from 11am - 2pm at Royal Sunalta Park (1727 14 Ave SW) we are bringing the community together on Neighbour Day to raise funds for those impacted. Please join us and fellow community members for free food and activities in the park. If you are unable to attend the event, any donation would be sincerely appreciated to help to get these families on their feet again.
Other partners include: the Elizabeth Fry Society, Alpha House Society, Scarboro Community Association, Scarboro United Church and the City of Calgary Strong Neighbourhoods Initiative for Sunalta.
