Update 7/2024: Slightly doing better on paying it off, dad is gone from my life, I managed to get a job that is allowing me to stay afloat and a payment plan. I had been working 3 jobs to allow me to get to the point. Unfortunately due to the stress and deteriorating health I had to quit one of the jobs. My ADHD also had been getting worse and increased the dosage of my pills.

Update 7/2023: My father told me he was going to korea to deal with the money issue. He flew to korea, but now he is ignoring my messages and calls, leaving me to deal with it on my own.

I live with my 97 year old Grandmother and mother, helping pay rent and living expenses. My mother and father are divorced. My father paid for my school loans and car with the money my grandma in Korea gave him to do so. Holding these payments over my head he told me to take out a loan for his car, which he would pay me back with the inheritance money he was going to sign over to me that he had in Korea. Originally he promised he would get the money in 3 months, but it turned into 3 years. Every time I asked about the money he would tell me how he helped me and that he would get the money so to just charge the payments on my credit card. By the end of the second year I could not continue paying for his car loan payments so they towed on sold his car, ruining my credit and putting me in a $50,000 dollar debt. This loan he took out was during COVID and I was not able to get a new full time job after being relieved of my old one due to COVID issues. I did my best selling personal items and working at my part time job to make payments. My father only recently told me that his brother stole all his inheritance money and he would not be able to pay the accrued amount that he told me to put on my credit card. I am working around 30-40 hours per week at my part time job, unable to get hired at a full time job, but I do need help since I pay the rent for my family.
