Our young puppy Summit was hit by a car today. Summit is only 5 months old and has already stolen our hearts and become an irreplaceable member of our family. Our hearts are aching as we wait for him to stabilize at the vet. We rushed him to the vet with blood gushing out of his mouth. He has fractured teeth and we're waiting to hear if his jaw is broken. We've seen the x-rays for his legs and he has a break in his hip and a break in his front leg, we're waiting to hear the financial outcome from the specialized orthopedic surgeon, its estimated to be roughly $10,000, we're committed to bringing him through this tough time and supporting him through his recovery, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Summit is our spunky boy, with so much heart, he never gives up, he's a cuddle bug and he loves to walk and hike with us and older brother dog.
