*UPDATE: We did it!! On Monday June 10th at 6am we reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Cancer Trials Ireland

Hey everyone,

Lena and I are gearing up for an incredible adventure this June as we embark on the journey of a lifetime: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

But this climb isn't just about reaching the summit—it's about reaching out to support a cause that means a lot to so many people, and in particular to my family.

We're climbing to raise funds for Cancer Trials Ireland. My mom has been courageously facing cancer for nine years now, undergoing targeted chemotherapy every three weeks. Without clinical trials, the treatment that keeps her alive wouldn’t have been possible.

Cancer trials test new and more effective ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer.

Trials can involve testing new drugs or combinations of commonly used drugs, new therapies, new ways of treating cancer, or new ways of diagnosing cancer.

We're covering our trip expenses ourselves, ensuring every donation goes directly to Cancer Trials Ireland.
