Join Sweat To Change as we help 4 women hike the world's tallest free-standing mountain, as an example to themselves and the world of the power of the female spirit.
Thanks to incredible donors we have met the financial needs to send the women to Africa and now we are raising money to give back to the Marshall Plan for Moms which is re-investing in the economic recovery of women post-pandemic.
Their journey will become a documentary that will be told thru their stories.
The women all have unique stories and have faced down some of the most unimaginable challenges from sexual abuse, to homophobia, incurable illness, suicidal thoughts, and life-long emotional abuse.
These individual traumas have helped shape them into the beautiful, tough and resilient women they are and fueled their inner fire to take on one of the world's most imposing physical structures, the tallest mountain in Africa.
All four of these women wish to empower women all over the world to believe in the POWER OF SHE and the ability to overcome the hand that life deals you by sharing this expedition with YOU.
Their individual stories will be told, along with their training and the summit. They are going to walk this path with the curtain pulled back on everything as a means to EMPOWER ALL, but specifically women, a group so very disproportionally affected by this pandemic.
The phrase, 'it takes a village,' has never been so appropriate as we need everyone's support to make this journey possible.
