Hi Everyone!

Myself (Jess Dey) , My 12yr old daughter (Maisie Dey) and our Family Friend Isabelle Allwood will be climbing Snowdon 18/04/2026. The highest mountain in Wales, as a sponsored challenge in support of 3 incredible people who have left such prints on our hearts : Dave Palmer & Fiona Gallagher-Thornley And Brian Allwood.

Dave is a legend in every sense- a Devoted husband, father, brother, friend and adventure at heart. In april 2025, dave suffered a life changing accident while scrambling up Tryfan, resulting in a significant spinal cord injury and paralysis from the chest down. Despite the immense challanges he faces, Dave's resilience, positivity, and determination inspire everyone around him as he undergoes intensive rehabilitation to regain independence and quality of life.

Fiona Was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease(MND) in 2023. She is a loving Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunty and Friend. From The moment we met her she has been a inspiration- Her infectious smile, Vibrant personality and life and soul energy have left a lasting mark on both our hearts and im sure everyone around her feels the same.

Isabelle's Grandad Bri was diagnosed with MND in January 2012 and despite this has always had a smile on his face. The life and soul of the party and loving life surrounded by his family. He shows pure strength even on the hardest days and still manages to crack a joke and laugh at them alongside us.

What is MND :

Motor Neurone Disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects the nerves controlling muscles, leading to weakness, People with MND may have difficulty walking, using their hands, speaking, swallowing, and breathing. there is currently no curem and the disease can have a profound impact on daily life. Donations to MND chairties can help fund vital research, provide support, and improve the quality of life for those living with the condition.

Dave & Fiona And Brian have shown extraordinary courage and strength in the face of adversity. This Climb is our way of supporting them, raising funds to help Dave's Recovery & The Charity MND for Fiona and Brian.

Every Step We Take Up Snowdon Will Be in Honour of Their Strength, Courage and The Love They Share With Everyone Around Them.

All donations will be split Between supporting Daves Recovery (Every step for dave Gofundme) including private rehabilitation, innovative SCI treatments and home adaptations - And The MND Charity supporting Fiona and Brian, helping fund vital research and care for people living with Motor Neurone Disease.
